Master Class
A dance technique class taught by an Ailey company member to a group of students or adults with knowledge of a dance technique. Total time: 1–1.5 hours.

Workshop
A dance technique class taught by an Ailey company member to a group of students or community members. No prior dance experience needed. Total time: 1 hour.

Lecture/Demonstration
Ailey company members will discuss the history, legacy, and mission of the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation in between non-costumed excerpts of the Ailey repertory. Audience participation and question-and-answer sessions may be included depending on the format of the space and time constraints. Total time: 1–1.5 hours.
