The Ailey School

Born in France, Tailys began her ballet training at the Sylvie Julia Private Ballet School. At the age of 13, Tailys joined the Toulouse National Conservatory of Dance. The following year, she attended the professional training program at VM Dance Studio and subsequently joined the VM Ballet Company.  Tailys has won several gold medals including, the National Conference of Dance Gold Medal, JMS Competition Gold Medal and Special Artistic prize, and the Gold Cup award at Biarritz International Ballet Competition.

In 2017, Tailys moved in New York City where she received scholarships to attend the Joffrey Ballet School, Ajkun Ballet Theater, and Peridance Capezio Center. She also attended The Ailey School Scholarship Program for two years. Tailys has participated in summer intensives at Complexions Contemporary Ballet and Alonzo King Lines Ballet on full scholarship.

Tailys has danced in a variety of venues, such as the Sophie Reyes High Fashion show, the 25th anniversary gala of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, in the film "Story of a hat" produced by Brawhaus organization, in the Fall VOGUE collection videoclip choregraphed by Danielle Polanco, with the Cuban singer Yoyo Ibarra, and for the Sultan D’Abu Dhabi’s private ceremony in Hollywood, California. She has worked with companies and choreographers such as Uniqlo, Matthew Madsen, Vinciane Ghyssens, Amy Hall Garner, Adams Company Dance, Encounters Dance, XAOC Contemporary Ballet, and Benjamin Briones Ballet.  In 2019, Tailys was offered a company position at Kayzer Ballet in Europe.
