Manon Hallay

Amanda Selwyn Dance Theater

Manon Hallay, born in France, started dancing at the Conservatoire de Tarbes.  She then went to Bordeaux at age 13 to study in a pre-professional course with Christian Conte and Martine Chaumet (solist at the English National Ballet). Two years later, she was accepted to the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp and had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Micheal Shannon.

Manon then moved to New York to study at The Ailey School as a scholarship student. She joined the Amanda Selwyn Dance Theater in 2014 and also works as the Associate Artistic Director of les Ballets Nomades.
