Larissa LongSee Cheng


Larissa LongSee Cheng is from Sydney, Australia. She moved to New York to train at the Ailey School where she had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Darrell Grand Moultrie, Ephrat Asherie, Clifton Brown, Judine Sommerville and Luis Salgado.  She performed throughout the New York Tri State area as a member of the Ailey Student Performance Group and with a select group of students in Alvin Ailey’s Memoria with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater during their December season at New York City Center.  In the summer of 2016, Larissa attended the school at Jacob’s Pillow where she worked intensely with Tony Award winning choreographer Chet Walker and performed in a sold out event of the Jazz Happening at the Ted Shawn Theater as both a dancer and vocalist.

Larissa’s other credits include performing at the Heatherwick Unveiling Event in Hudson Yards directed by Matthew Rushing. She is under contract with entertainment production company Creativivia, Toronto and is excited to tour to perform in Turks and Caicos.
