The Ailey School

Jhon Kristoffer arrived in New York in 20007 after several moves over the Atlantic Ocean. He received his formal training at the Swedish Royal Ballet School in Stockholm, Balettakademien (Ballet Academy) in Gothenburg and the renowned Ailey School in New York. In Sweden he performed as dancer with Swedish glam rock band ‘The Ark’, Swedish Idol participant Geraldo Sandell, and in productions of HAIR and The Nutcracker. Jhon has also appeared as a dancer and extra on Swedish and Spanish Television. In New York he has worked with the Buglisi Dance Theater, High Frequency Wavelengths Dance Company, Mishi Dance, GR Dance Company, Keen Dance Theater and Kasan’a Dance Company.  He also performed at a benefit gala for President Obama in New York and played the Pendulum in the short film ‘Paper Cranes & Pendulum.’
