Carolyn Zeppa (Naoroz)

Randolph-Macon College, Asst. Adjunct Professor of Policing & Criminology

Carolyn Naoroz, nee Zeppa, Ph.D. is the Body-Worn Camera Management Analyst for the Richmond Police Department and an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Policing and Criminology at Randolph-Macon College.  Formerly, she was a doctoral research assistant with the National Institute of Justice in Washington D.C.  At the National Institute of Justice, Dr. Naoroz provided research assistance to the Law Enforcement Advancing Data and Science (LEADS) Scholars Program.  Dr. Naoroz serves as the Co-Chair of the Police Research Advancement Section, a section of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, President of the Board for Friends of Richmond K9, a non-profit organization that fundraises for the Richmond Police Department’s K9 Unit, and is a City Council appointee to the Richmond Community Criminal Justice Board.  She holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University’s L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs and a M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Eastern Michigan University. 

Prior to pursuing her graduate education, Dr. Naoroz graduated from the prestigious arts boarding and college preparatory school Interlochen Arts Academy, and the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in Dance.
