The Ailey School

Malina Pepita Oceane Freidig is from Bern, Switzerland. She started dancing at the Dance School Monique van der Roer in Fribourg, Switzerland. She then continued her training at the Conservatory de Fribourg in the Pre-Professional Department for contemporary and classical dance. Malina attended the Contemporary Dance School of Hamburg, CDSH, in Germany before moving to New York to train in The Ailey School Certificate Program. Malina has also trained at various intensives, including the Académie Princesse Grace in Monaco, taZ, Dance Area Geneva, NOD, and GagaLab. She has performed works choreographed by Ephrat Asherie, Javier Báez, Nadejda Loujine, Hans Meister, Jenni Arne, among others. Malina is currently a member of the Ailey Student Performance Group (ASPG) and is a 2024 graduate of the Certificate Program.
