Rose Hinoul

BFA Program Class of 2024

Rose Hinoul is originally from Belgium, where she began dancing from a young age at the Balletschool Veronique Lenaers. At the age of eight, Rose moved to the United States with her family, and grew up in New Jersey and Ohio. She continued her formal dance training at the New Jersey School of Ballet, Gotta Dance, and the Cincinnati Ballet Academy, and frequently performed with their respective companies. Rose has attended summer intensives at the Rock School, Cincinnati Ballet, and as a scholarship recipient at The Ailey School. She was selected to dance at the 2023 Rockettes Conservatory. Rose has successfully completed special events internships for ‘Dancewave Through College and Beyond’, as well as for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Rose is a 2024 graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA program as a double major in Dance and Sociology. She attended the University on a Dean’s Scholarship and was honored to earn a place on the Dean’s List throughout her years of study. At The Ailey School, Rose performed in Alvin Ailey’s iconic Night Creature restaged by Renee Robinson, and performed works by Alexander Anderson, Roderick George, Madison Hicks, and Levi Marsman. Rose is grateful for her time at Ailey and looks forward to furthering her career in dance.
