Rileigh Timmerman

BFA Program Class of 2024

Rileigh Timmerman was born in Seattle, WA where she began her dance training at the age of 3. She then moved to Chattanooga, TN where she continued in competitive dance and became involved in Musical Theater, assuming the role of dance captain for high school productions of West Side Story and Newsies. She went on to co-choreograph local productions of The Fantasticks, The Little Mermaid Jr., Annie Jr., and Into the Woods Jr. in Chattanooga. Rileigh is a 2024 graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in Dance, where she double majored in Dance and Applied Mathematics. During her time in the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, she has worked with choreographers such as Rebecca Margolick, Maleek Washington, and Roderick George. She is also a recipient of the Clare Boothe Luce Scholarship for her continued investigation of the intersection between dance and math.
