Morgan Gregory

BFA Program Class of 2024

Morgan Gregory, originally from Chesterfield, VA, began dancing at the age of three and attended many local dance schools. At the age of 14, she enrolled in a year round training program with The Richmond Ballet School, then directed by Judy Jacobs, and eventually became part of their trainee program from 2018-2020. As a trainee, Morgan was given the opportunity to perform corps of ballet roles in The Nutcracker, with the Richmond Ballet main company, Serenade and Napoli. During her summers, Morgan has attended The Juilliard School, W’him W'him, SpringboardX, The Ailey School, GALLIM and others.  She is a senior in the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, double majoring in Dance and African and African American studies. During her four years in the BFA program, she has interned with Urban Bush Women,
MoBBallet, The Ailey School and most recently The Bessie Awards in 2023. Humbly, Morgan was named and honored as the Denise Jefferson Memorial Scholar in 2022. She has worked with legendary dance figure Sidra Bell as a Winter Module 2022 Research Fellow. Additionally, Morgan has had the privilege of learning from Alexander Anderson, Madison Hicks, Annie Rigney, Renee Robinson, Rebbeca Margolick, Ana Pi, Nattie + Hollis and many more. She is excited for what the future holds after graduation.
