Lilliana Miller

BFA Program Class of 2024

Lilliana is a naturally eclectic and innovative soul whose work and unique artistry reflects her fascination in discovering hidden pathways between movement, language, and art.  She is inspired by the universal power of these art forms to shed light on social justice issues and create new outlets through her work for nurturing cross-cultural relationships,  inclusivity, individuality, and racial reconciliation. Originally from the West side of Chicago, she is a New York City based dancer, writer, choreographer, and artist who has worked and trained across many fields and disciplines including Dance, Marketing, Music, Teaching, Graphic Design, Digital Design and Media, Web and Media Content Creation, Choreography, Photography, Creative Writing/Journalism (among other genres), Non-profit work, and Performance Production Management.
She started her training at The Academy of Movement & Music and as a member of MOMENTA Dance Company before pursuing her degree in the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program as a double major in dance and English with a concentration in Creative Writing. She is trained in a versatile range of techniques and repertoire including Ballet, Graham, Horton,  Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, the Gaga Method, and more in addition to working with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Rebecca Margolick, Nick Pupillo, Alexander Anderson, Eddy Ocampo, Madison Hicks, Earl Mosely and Doron Perk. Currently, Lilliana is exploring more choreographic opportunities as well as hoping to join a contemporary-based company either in New York, overseas, or wherever else her career may take her.
