Lauren Rothert

BFA Program Class of 2024

Lauren Rothert is a native of Dallas, TX where she trained at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and at Dance Industry Performing Arts Center. She resides in New York City where she is pursuing a BA in psychology and a BFA in dance in the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program. She has supplemented her training at intensives such as Jacob’s Pillow, Orsolina28, SpringboardX, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. Lauren has worked with artists such as Alexander Anderson, Aszure Barton, Hope Boykin, Mark Caserta, Roderick George, Shannon Gillen, Madison Hicks, Loni Landon, Jiří Pokorný, Benoit-Swan Pouffer, Victor Quijada, Micaela Taylor, Alexandra Wells, among others. She has been recognized as a recipient of the Huang Leadership Development Scholarship, and honored with a Professional Advancement in Dance award by The School at Jacob’s Pillow. Lauren has performed in iconic spaces such as Jazz at Lincoln Center and Henry J. Leir Stage. In 2023, Lauren joined HopeBoykinDance and made her professional debut at the Joyce Theater in States Of Hope.
