Baili Goer

BFA Program Class of 2024

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Baili Goer started her dance training at five years old at Dallas Black Dance Academy under the direction of the founder, Ann Williams. During her time at the academy, Baili had the opportunity to perform with the academy performing ensembles, Allegro Performing Ensemble, Senior Performing Ensemble, and Junior Performing Ensemble. In addition, she has also trained at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (BTWHSPVA), where she received a dance and academic education. At BTWHSPVA, Baili performed works by Darrell Grand Moultrie, Bridget Moore, Mike Esperanza, and many more. Following graduation in 2020 Baili went off to study dance at Point Park University under the direction of Garfield Lemonius. After two years, she transitioned to the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in Dance. Throughout her year at The Ailey School, Baili has had the opportunity to perform in Hope Boykin’s Chasing the Spirit with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ailey ll, and students of The Ailey School Junior Division at the Ailey Spirit Gala. Baili is forever grateful for her family, friends, and dance instructors who have supported her through her growth.
