Virginia Santucci

Freelance Dancer

Virginia Santucci is from Florence, Italy where she started training in ballet at a very early age at La Scuola del Balletto di Toscana.  She continued training in contemporary and modern dance at Opus Ballet and Axe Ballet. At the age of 19, she moved to Paris to attend the Institut de Formation Professionnelle Rick Odums" where she improved her jazz technique and enhanced her artistry by being part of the two young companies Jeune Ballet Jazz and Jeune Ballet Modern. In 2019 Virginia moved to New York City to enroll in the Certificate Program at The Ailey School. During her first year, she participated in the New Directions Choreography Lab (NDCL) with Helen Simoneau and Daniel Ross.  As a member of the Ailey Student Performance Group Virginia worked with choreographers such as Amy Hall, Patrick Coker, and Hollie Wright. Virginia also performed in Frederick Earl Mosley's Diversity of Dance and became an apprentice with Philadanco! II.  Virginia is a graduate of The Ailey School Certificate Program, class of 2022 and aspires to dance in a modern-based dance company.
