Thibaut Witzleb

Nai Ni Chen Dance

Thibaut Witzleb, a native of France, trained at The Ailey School in the Scholarship Program. During his time at Ailey he had the opportunity to dance with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in its iconic work “Revelations” at the New York City Center and on National Television during the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Thibaut also performed on French television, at the DUMBO Festival with Earl Mosley’s Hearts of Men Diversity of Dance, in Jacqulyn Buglisi’s  9/11 Table of Silence, International Ballet Festival of Union City, Ballet Beyond Borders International Los Angeles, and with the Fordham University as well as the Ivy League University Columbia. He was an apprentice with Parsons Dance, company member of AriMDance, RudduRDance, Brooklyn Dance Festival Company and guest artist with Contemporary West in Las Vegas and IKADA Dance Company.

Thibaut has served as Norbert de la Cruz III’s rehearsal director throughout the USA, in institutions such as the Juilliard School, SUNY Purchase College, La Guardia High School or Point Park University. He has worked in various capacities at the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation, Paul Taylor Dance Foundation and the Dance Magazine Awards 2019 and 2020. He is a Horton Instructor and has been mentored by Ms. Ana Marie Forsythe, Ailey School Horton Department Chair and Co-author of The Dance Technique of Lester Horton. Thibaut is currently a member of Nai Ni Chen Dance.
