Teige Bisnought

Dallas Black Dance Theater: Encore!

Teige Bisnought is originally from Reading, England and began his training taking certificate grade exams for the Royal Academy of Dance at the age of 10. He later trained at The Arts Educational Schools London and joined the ArtsEd youth dance company where he had the opportunity to set his own work on the company. In 2017 he moved to New York to attend The Ailey School Scholarship Program, where he worked with choreographers such as Ray Mercer, Troy Powell, Bradley Shelver and Brice Mousset. He also appeared at New York City Center during Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's 60th Anniversary season in Mr. Ailey's work, Memoria. In his last year at the school, he apprenticed with Ailey II. Other productions include NYC United against CancerArtists Unite 2020 And In Our America: A Concert for the Soul of our Nation. Teige is currently a company member with Dallas Black Dance Theatre: Encore!
