Sequoia Harris

Sequoia Harris is a native of Brooklyn, NY. As a young trainee she studied at Restoration Youth Arts Academy, Dance Theatre of Harlem, LaGuardia Arts High School, and MOVE (NYC). Sequoia has a versatile background in African, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Contemporary Dance styles. She has performed at a multitude of venues in New York City including “Dance Africa” at the Brooklyn Academy of Music under the direction of the late Baba Chuck Davis. Sequoia has worked with notable choreographers such as Karen Thorton, Obediah Wright, Ronald K. Brown, Robert Garland, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Chanel DaSilva, Nigel Campbell, Nijawwon Matthews, Maleek Washington, LajaMartin, Sonia Dawkins and Jennifer Archibald.  She is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, class of 2020.
