Nilah Pettus
Freelance Dancer
Nilah Pettus, born in Washington DC, began her dance training at the Jones-Haywood School of Dance. She attended The Ailey School’s summer intensives in New York City (2014-2018) and the Gus Giordano College Pro Intensive in Chicago (2019). Nilah is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in Dance and has worked with choreographers Sonia Dawkins, Elisa Clark, Hinton Battle, Dionne Figgins, Esme Boyce, and Natalie Lamonte. Also interested in acting, singing, and modeling, she hopes to pursue a career in concert dance as well as Broadway and Television.
