The Ailey School

Natalie Butt was born in Michigan and grew up in Miami, Florida where she trained at TAME Dance Academy under the direction of Teddy Talbot and Luke Stockton. Throughout her years there, she performed works by Zui Gomez, Jacqueline Bulnes, Kevin Jenkins, and many more. Natalie attended high school at New World School of the Arts where she was a part of the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. For their Fall and Spring concerts, she worked with and performed repertoire by Robert Battle, Gerard Ebitz, Jessica Lang, Peter London, Erika Pujic, and Kanji Segawa. She moved to New York City 2020 to attend the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in Dance, where she has had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Shannon Lewis, Dylan Pearce, and Candi Boyd in various dance projects. She made her professional debut as a Radio City Rockette in October of 2022 for Hallmark’s ‘Countdown to Christmas’ movie premiere at Radio City Music Hall.  In junior and senior years at The Ailey School, she was part of Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular as a Rockette. Natalie is fiercely devoted to continuing to chase her goals whilst creating community and spreading her passion along the way.
