Madeline Dwyer

Freelance Dancer

Madeline Dwyer began dancing in Vermont at Stowe Dance Academy and later attended the Boston Ballet School Pre-Professional Program under Margaret Tracey. She has studied with the School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Martha Graham School, and GALLIM. A summa cum laude graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, she performed works there by Brice Mousset, Darshan Bhuller, Joanna Kotze, and Jacqulyn Buglisi. She has performed works by Alec Knight and Jesse Obremski and has danced at the Boston Opera House in Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker. Dwyer is the resident choreographer at Hudson River Opera and a company member with WHITE WAVE. She considers herself an honest artist and a motivated collaborator who views movement as a catalyst for connection as well as a medium for personal growth. She is a passionate practitioner of the Gaga movement language and an aspirant choreographer. Additionally, she has achieved a minor in Spanish, loves reading books, and teaches with the JUNTOS Collective.
