The Ailey School

Lexi Sim began her training in Calgary, Alberta at Dance Explosions and at Central Memorial High School, where she graduated from the Performing Visual Arts Dance program. Lexi also trained pre-professionally with Alberta Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, Joffrey Ballet, and Hubbard Street.  She is a graduate of The Ailey School Certificate Program, class of 2021, where she was a member of the Ailey Student Performance Group and a participant in the New Director’s Choreography Lab in New York.  Lexi has performed in Carnival Choreographers Ball in a work by Traci Stanfield.  As a freelance dancer, Lexi performs with DanceKerr & Dancers, AP Dance Inc., and Hanna Q Dance Company.  In addition to dance Lexi is also a favorite of photographers around New York City for dance shoots and has been seen on the cover of iDance Magazine October 2021 issue. She teaches dance throughout the city for all age groups and is currently a company member with Hanna Q Dance Company.
