The Ailey School

Raised in Tampa, Florida, Katarina began her dance training at the age of 10. At 14, she began training at Next Generation Ballet and Blake High School, specializing in ballet, modern, contemporary and jazz. Her experience includes teaching workshops in Tampa and on trips abroad with JUNTOS Dance Collective. Katarina realized her passion for social work in the arts on while working with JUNTOS in Guatemala in 2018 and has subsequently been on two additional trips with JUNTOS. She is planning on completing the JUNTOS Ambassador Program this year. She is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, class of 2020 and hopes to continue her performance career while teaching dance and doing arts-based outreach.
