Ishaun Jackson-Moaney

Ishaun Jackson-Moaney (Baltimore, MD) began her dance training at The Lula Washington Dance Theatre after moving to Los Angeles, CA. She attended the LA County High School for the Arts where she performed repertoire by José Limón, Jiří Kylián, Hans van Manen, and Christopher L. Huggins. Ishaun has been awarded scholarships at Jacob Jonas The Company, The Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet, Francisco Gella’s New Year’s Training Camp, Align Ballet Method and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. During her time at The Ailey School, Ishaun had the opportunity to perform works by choreographers Mark Caserta, Sonia Dawkins, Chuck Wilt, Francesca Harper, and Janice Rosario. Ishaun also performed Festa Barroca by Mauro Bigonzetti (restaged by Clifton Brown) at the 2022 New York City Center Opening Night Gala for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Ishaun is pursuing her own choreographic endeavors in both concert and commercial dance.
