The Ailey School

Isabelle Buneo was born and raised in Verona, NJ and received her dance training at DanceWorks Studios, where she studied ballet, modern, tap, jazz, and hip hop. Throughout high school, she remained an active member of the DanceWorks Teen Touring Company through which she performed around the tri-state area and abroad and became a member of the National Dance Honor Society. As a student in the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, Isabelle performed works by Chuck Wilt and Ethan Colangelo. In addition to her dance studies, Isabelle achieved a second major in English and worked as the editorial intern for NewBeauty Magazine. Isabelle is pursuing a career in arts education and advocacy to help make the dance world a more inclusive space.
