Isabel Subacz

Certificate Program Class of 2023

Isabel Subacz began her dance training at a very young age in her hometown of Lancaster, PA at Premiere Danse Academy. She continued her studies at The Center For Performing and Fine Arts High School where she graduated with honors as the Dance Department award recipient. Additionally, she has also attended The University of the Arts Pre-College Program, Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts, and completed Broadway Dance Center’s Contemporary and Musical Theater Training Programs. Isabel graduated from The Ailey School Certificate Program in spring of 2023. She was a member of The Ailey Student Performance Group and performed in works by Janice Rosario, Tracy Inman, Darrel Moultrie, Amy Hall Garner, Ronald K Brown, and performed in the Spring Concert for Renee Robinson. She has had the opportunity to perform in Mauro Bigonzetti's “Festa Borocca”, directed by Clifton Brown at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s 2022 New York City Center Opening Night Gala. As a freelance dancer, she has danced with artists Nicole Von Art, Anya Clarke, Hedi Cruz-Austin, Dawn Hillen, Andrea McCormick, Shea Sullivan, Amanda LaMotte, and Jesse Obremski. Isabel has also performed in numerous dance revues and musicals at the community/regional level where she has been a featured singer/dancer, dance captain, and choreographer. She has performed with Philadelphia’s professional tap company The Lady Hoofers. Isabel also choreographs group and solo works of all genres for studios on the East Coast.
