Hannah Hayward

Freelance dancer

Hannah Hayward was born and raised in the southeastern United States. She began competing and choreographing at the age of 11. She is a former Artists Simply Human Assistant, a YAGP Regional medalist, and a Top 10 winner at The Dance Awards. Hannah made her debut with Complexions Contemporary Ballet Pre-Professional Division in 2017 at the Joyce Theater in New York City, and her screen premiere in the film "Hi Hello". Hannah has performed works by Dwight Rhoden, Desmond Richardson, Ohad Naharin, Stacey Tookey, Teddy Forance, Francisco Gella, Yusha-Marie Sorzano, the Barton sisters, Sarah Brinson, Al Blackstone, Max Stone, Greg Dolbashian, Larry Keigwin and among others. In 2016, Hannah moved to New York where she attended the PeriDance Capezio Center’s Certificate Program and The Ailey School's Scholarship Program. She studied with Milton Myers, Ana-Maria Forsythe, Tracy Inman, and others. While pursuing her dance training, she concurrently completed her B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Tennessee, where she was a member of the NSLS and Sigma Alpha Phi Honor Society and was named to the Chancellor’s Honor Roll. Hannah has performed in Alvin Ailey’s “Revelations” at The 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and has collaborated virtually with choreographers including Jermaine Spivey, Stacey Tookey, Roger Van der Poel, Peter Chu, and Kelby Brown.
