Edie Dunn

Freelance dancer

Edie Dunn (London, UK) began her training at Sylvia Young Theatre School in London, England. She was Dance Captain for London’s West End show “Godspell” where she also understudied the lead role of Morgan. Edie has also performed as a back up dancer for Robbie Williams at the London Palladium as well as on Britains Got Talent. She has also been in various commercials and voice overs. She attended The Ailey School Summer Intensive in 2016 and moved to New York later that year to attend The Ailey School’s Independent Study Program. She subsequently transferred to the Certificate Program where she was a member of the Ailey Student Performance Group. She has had the opportunity to work with world renowned choreographers such as Darrell Moultrie, Early Mosley, Clifton Brown, Hollie Wright, Alrick Thomas, Sidra Bell, Shay Bland, Kirven Boyd, Norbert De La Cruz, among others.  Edie has performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with The Ailey School, and at New York City Center with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in a section of Mr. Ailey’s classic work, Revelations.  Edie is a graduate of The Ailey School Certificate Program, class of 2020.
