Cheyenne Freeman

Cheyenne Freeman (Windsor, VA) began her dance training at the age of 3.  She trained under the direction of former Radio City Rockette, Renee Perry-Mitchell at RPM Dance of Carrollton, VA in a variety of dance styles, including tap and musical theater. She has attended three summer intensives with the Rockettes, and the Alonzo King Lines Ballet Intensive in San Francisco, CA. She is also an alumni of Jennifer Archibald’s ARCHCORE40.  She attended the ballet trainee program at the Joffrey Ballet School for two years and subsequently received a scholarship for The Ailey School Summer Intensive in 2017.  She later enrolled in The Ailey School Certificate Program. Cheyenne has performed in various film projects, including dancing with singer ROXINY, and in Redha Medjellekh’s video for International Women’s Day.  She performed with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in Alvin Ailey’s work Memoria during their 2019 New York City Center Season, and in Rocka My Soul in the 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She has also performed in the annual Global Harmony concert at The Ailey School, and is a graduate of the Certificate Program, class of 2020.
