Casie McManus

JUNTOS Collective

Casie McManus grew up in Rochester, NY. Her interest in the arts began after performing in “A Christmas Carol” at Geva Theatre Center. She has worked closely with Nikki Snelson, Ben Cameron, and Eric Stretch on their educational musical theater programs in Rochester, as a student and an assistant. She trained under Krista Cerretto and Charlotte Buckley at their studio, Roc Dance. Vocally, she has trained under both Deborah Conquest and Brandon Martinez.  Ms. McManus is a graduate of Ailey/Fordham as a dance major and a minor in Music.  As a student in The Ailey School, she performed in works by Esmé Boyce, Helen Simoneau, and Jamar Roberts. In addition to her dance endeavors, Ms. McManus has worked with The Chelsea Music Festival on their Development team and with Dances for a Variable Population, where she helped make free dance classes and performances accessible to older people. Through JUNTOS Collective, Ms. McManus has had the opportunity to teach dance classes in Spanish to students in Colombia and Guatemala.
