The Ailey School

Ashley is originally from West Palm Beach, Florida where she trained at Dreyfoos School of the Arts and School of Ballet Arts.  She is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA program where she studied dance and communications, Ashley has performed the works of such choreographers as Bradley Shelver, Nijawwon Matthews, Janice Rosario, Hope Boykin, and Troy Powell. She performed with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in Alvin Ailey's ballet 'Memoria' at the New York City Center Theater. She was a trainee with Complexions Contemporary Ballet in 2018/2019 and performed with the company during their New York season. Recently Ashley was honored with the Denise Jefferson Foundation Scholarship, representing her class at the Ailey/Fordham Benefit Concert. In the summer of 2019 Ashley joined the cast of the movie adaptation of Lin Manuel Miranda’s In The Heights as an ensemble dancer. Ashley has danced with XY Dance Project, a Project-based company directed by Nijawwon Matthews, and with Collage Dance Collective. She is currently a member of Ballet X.
