Aitana Jordan

Freelance Dancer

Aitana Jordan began her classical ballet training with Long Beach Ballet at the age of five. For over a decade, Aitana performed in Long Beach Ballet’s annual spring productions and The Nutcracker. She traveled with the senior company to Regional Dance America where she performed works choreographed by Mark Bush, Heather Grey, Shani Englert, James Sofranko, and Britnee Squire. In addition, Aitana competed in the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and the Music Center Spotlight Program.  Aitana attended The Rock School for Dance Education summer intensive program, accompanied Long Beach Ballet dancers on their China tour, spent two summers training at the San Francisco Ballet School, and studied at the Arts Umbrella summer intensive. She is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, where she had the opportunity of learning works by Becky Brown, William Isaac, Manuel Vignouelle, Paul Taylor, and Brice Mousset. She has been a guest dancer with the Ballet Theatre Company of Connecticut, has worked with up-and-coming choreographers Kyle Marshall and Davalois Fearon, and performed with Buglisi Dance Theatre in Table of Silence. Aitana was featured in Danaë Vlasse’s award-winning music video Swansong, Billy Recce’s music video Unironic Love Song, and The Ailey School’s Tribute to The Dinner Party by Judy Chicago directed by Redha Medjellekh.
