Michael Francis McBride (Johnson City, NY) is a freelance performing artist based in New York City. Mr. McBride graduated magna cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in Dance in 2010 after joining Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 2009 under the direction of Judith Jamison. Having a passion for both musical theater and opera, Michael has performed in productions at venues around the world including Bucks County Playhouse, Cape Playhouse, Chicago Lyric Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, and Portland Opera. When not performing, Mr. McBride is an impassioned educator and budding choreographer who has experience teaching absolute beginners to seasoned professionals in a range of techniques and styles.
