Ronald K.Brown EVIDENCE, A Dance Company

Valériane Louisy Louis Joseph is a French Caribbean native of Nanterre, France where she began her dance training.  Upon moving to New York she studied at The Ailey School and graduated from the Certificate program in 2018 where she performed works by Ephrat Asherie, Darshan Singh Bhuller, Winston D.Brown, Amy Hall, Earl Mosley, and Darrell Moultrie.

She also performed in Alvin Ailey’s ballet Memoria, restaged by Ronni Favors, at the New York City Center with members of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.  Valériane also worked alongside Chester Whitmore, Frit & Frat, Augusto Soledade BRAZZDANCE, Davalois Fearon Dance, and Will Brown.

She is a recipient of the EVIDENCE Dance Workshop Series Beth Young Scholarship, and apprenticed with Ronald K.Brown EVIDENCE, A Dance Company before joining the company in 2018.
