Addison Ector

Complexions Contemporary Ballet

Addison Ector was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He began his dance training at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy at the age of 13. After graduating high school, he attended The Ailey School Scholarship Program for three years and attended the Jacob Pillow Contemporary Program in 2012.  Addison has performed works by Debbie Allen, Judith Jamison, Ohad Naharin, Thang Dao, Alvin Ailey, Jennifer Archibald, Ron K. Brown, Matthew Rushing, and others. He has been a guest artist with Germaul Barnes/Viewsic Expressions Dance, Company XIV Burlesque, Appalachian Ballet Company (Nutcracker Snow King and Spanish), and The Great Gatsby Ballet in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Addison has performed with Complexions Contemporary Ballet for five seasons under the direction of Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson where he performed works by Ido Tadmor, Jae Man Joo, Marcelo Gomes, and Dwight Rhoden. 

Addison’s other professional credits include, Gap's Fall 2015 Fitness Campaign, Coreon Du's music video Ne Me Quitte Pas, and Jill Scott's Back Together music video. He has worked with established photographers such as Rachel Neville, Carlos Quezada, Guenther Egger, Vikki Sloviter, and has been featured in two published books, The Art of Movement by NYC Dance Project, and Dancers After Dark by Jordan Matter. 

He is currently a member of Tiroler LandesTheater Innsbruck, in Austria.
