ARI hails from New York City. He began his dance training at the age of 11 on full scholarship at Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance where three years later was asked to join Pearl Lang Dance Theater and Martha Graham Dance Ensemble. He also studied at School of American Ballet and Joffrey Ballet School on full scholarships.
Over the years ARI has danced for Pascal Rioult Dance Theater (now Rioult), Les Ballets Trockadero De Monte Carlo, Les Ballets Grandiva, Scapino Ballet (Holland), Danceworks Rotterdam (Holland), Martha Graham Dance Company, The Metropolitan Opera and, The Washington Opera as a Guest Soloist, just to name a few, and performed Twyla Tharp's ballets, “Junk Duet” and “Sinatra Suite” on Norwegian Cruise Lines.
ARI’s received through the Princess Grace Foundation, the “Award of Excellence” in Dance, for 1999/2000. He’s been in movies, music videos, TV-Series, commercials, worked as a print & runway model and is now currently working with Buglisi Dance Theater, teaching workshops abroad in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, as well as performing with and teaching company class for Compagnie De Danse; Romain Philip (Luxembourg). He’s also pursuing his music career which has granted him music thus far on iTunes, and a spot on an internet radio station. ARI thanks his mom for all of her love and support throughout the years.
