End the year on a high note! Join us on New Year’s Eve at 7pm (note early curtain time).

Starting at 11am on December 31, all parking garages will be closed from West 38th Street to West 59th Street between 6th and 8th Avenues. Cars in these establishments will remain there until the garages reopen, after the New Year's Eve cleanup is complete. There will be no exceptions.

Starting that morning (time TBD), some streets in the area around the theater will be closed to all vehicles and there will be limited access for pedestrians. We encourage you not to arrive by car and to use public transportation to the area instead.

Starting at 6pm, Ailey staff will be available to assist you along West 55th Street, to make it quick and easy for you to get to Ailey's evening performance at New York City Center. To help expedite entry at the NYPD checkpoints along West 55th Street, have your tickets or order confirmation ready for inspection.

Look for our staff members holding large Ailey posters at one of these street locations:

• Corner of West 55th Street and 6th Avenue (THIS IS THE FASTEST ACCESS POINT)
• Corner of West 55th Street and 7th Avenue
• Corner of West 55th Street and 8th Avenue (THIS IS THE SLOWEST ACCESS POINT)

To gain access onto West 55th Street, simply present your ticket or explain that you are purchasing or picking up tickets at the City Center box office. If you have any questions, please look for the Ailey staff that will be easily visible on West 55th Street at 6th, 7th and 8th Avenues. You should not have to wait for admittance or stand on any lines. If you are traveling by car, please note that car traffic is not allowed on 7th Avenue or Broadway, from Times Square to Columbus Circle (see map above).

For security reasons, backpacks, large packages and large bags are prohibited in the Times Square area on New Year's Eve.
