We appreciate your cooperation to ensure the well-being of our students, as well as our crew, staff, and audiences.
Your safety is our top priority. All audience members including children between the ages of 5-18, will need to wear masks and provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (two weeks after receiving a one-dose vaccine or the second dose of a two-dose vaccine). Children under 5 will not be admitted.

Proof of Full Vaccination
All guests in your party ages 5 and up will need to provide proof of full Covid-19 vaccination (two weeks after receiving a one-dose vaccine or both doses of a two-dose vaccine) All guests over the age of 18 will also need to provide a government issued photo ID. Photo ID will not be required for children 5-18 if they are accompanied by parents or guardians with valid proof of ID.
Valid forms of proof of vaccination include:

Digital Health Pass (examples include NY State Excelsior Pass or Health Pass by CLEAR)
Masks
Approved masks must be worn by all guests in your party at all times while inside the Joan Weill Center for Dance and The Ailey Citigroup Theater.
Please note: CDC guidelines state that bandanas, gaiters, or masks with vents/valves are not approved masks.
Please Arrive Early
The theater lobby will open one hour prior to the performance and seating will begin 45 minutes before showtime. Please plan to arrive at the theater NO LATER THAN one hour prior to performance to allow enough time for required vaccination and security checks and avoid missing the beginning of the performance.
Refunds and Exchanges
If anyone in your party is feeling ill or tested positive for Covid-19, we ask that you please do not come to the theater.
We can’t make exceptions for in-person attendees who are not vaccinated regardless of the reason. Unfortunately, if you are unable to receive the vaccine or are unable to provide proof of vaccination, we won’t be able to welcome you to a performance at this time.
Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
You can also donate your tickets for a tax-deductible contribution. For any exchanges, refunds, or donations, please email aileyextension@alvinailey.org.
