Perfect for students who love Broadway dance and want to learn the many different styles, this class features Broadway show tunes from beginning to end. In addition to technique and performance skills, students will also be taught the history of the song, the composer, the artists, and it's influence in musical theater history, from Golden Age musicals to today's current show while developing your personal style and character.

This workshop is open to fully vaccinated students (no booster required) ages 10-17 of any dance experience level.

Please note: an Ailey Extension manager will be present to monitor in-person classrooms. Please email kidsandteens@alvinailey.org with any questions.

How In-Studio Classes Work:

Sign up for class in advance. Students must register for class online before arriving at the Ailey Studios, no on-site sign-ups will be permitted.
Upload your vaccine card to Mindbody. Students must upload their proof of full vaccination at least 24 hours prior to their first class at the Ailey Studios here.
Download the HealthCheck app. Students must complete Ailey's health screening questionnaire the day of class via the HealthCheck app.
Arrive at Ailey with your mask on. Locker rooms are available at a limited capacity.
