About Jeffrey:
Jeffrey P. Bynum was born and raised in Washington DC. where he trained at the Jones & Haywood School of Ballet and Duke Ellington High School for the Performing & Visual Arts. Jeffrey later continued his studies at The Ailey School and Dance Theatre of Harlem before dancing with Philadanco, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Nanette Bearden Dance, and 7th Principle Dance Company in addition to dancing in both on-Broadway and off-Broadway shows.

Get to Know Jeffrey
Jeffrey P. Bynum was born and raised in Washington DC. where he began his dance training at the Jones & Haywood School of Ballet. He's a graduate of the prestigious Duke Ellington High School for the Performing & Visual Arts. Jeffrey later continued his studies at The Ailey School and Dance Theatre of Harlem. He has danced with Philadanco, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Nanette Bearden Dance, and 7th Principle Dance Company in addition to dancing in both on-Broadway and off-Broadway shows. Jeffrey has worked as a teaching artist for the Alvin Ailey Arts In Education program, the New York City Center Arts in Education Department, and the Dance Theatre of Harlem Outreach and Education programs. He is on staff for the Ailey/Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) program and currently teaches jazz at the Ailey Extension.
