Stretch and precision are key to New Way Vogue. Students will focus on arms controls to show off your control of creating lines, shapes, illusions, and face framing movements to the beat of the music in addition to poses, floor work, cat walks, duck walks, and dips.
About Jason:
Jason Anthony Rodriguez is a Dominican-American actor and dancer who was born and raised in Washington Heights in New York City. He was trained in voguing by Benny Ninja, Dorit Koppel, and Kevin Wynn. Jason was a series regular in Ryan Murphy’s Emmy® and Golden Globe®-nominated series Pose as Lamar. Jason also guest-starred on HBO's The Deuce as Enrico. Jason has taught vogue in various institutions throughout the states as well as internationally in Dominican Republic, Vienna, and Japan.

Get to Know Jason
Jason Anthony Rodriguez is a Dominican-American actor and dancer. He was born and raised in Washington Heights in New York City. He went to SUNY Purchase where he received a BA in Arts Management while also studying dance. He found voguing through Benny Ninja and began his training under him. He was also mentored by Dorit Koppel and Kevin Wynn. He trained in acting at The Susan Batson Studio.
Jason was a series regular in Ryan Murphy’s Emmy® and Golden Globe®-nominated series Pose as Lamar. He also worked as the movement coach for all 3 seasons of Pose.
Jason guest-starred on the season finale of The Deuce on HBO as Enrico.
Jason has been featured in the New York Times five times by Siobhan Burke, Gia Kourlas, and Illise S. Carter: “Mr. Rodriguez is a subtle scene stealer as Lamar on the FX show “Pose,” Gia Kourlas, NYT dance critic.
Jason has taught vogue in various institutions throughout the states as well as internationally in Dominican Republic, Vienna, and Japan.
