About This Class

Sabar is an African dance style named after the drum used to play rhythms for that dance from Senegal West Africa. Class will begin with a warm-up and a breakdown of the dance movements that students will learn that day. Dancers will then execute the movements to the beat of the live drums. Class will end in a culmination of a dance circle and solos.
