Ailey Experience Tour: Atlanta

This workshop is designed to expand on Alvin Ailey life-long commitment to give dance back to the people by making dance accessible to everyone. The Ailey Experience workshop gives dancers ages 9 and up the opportunity to study with leading Ailey instructors and former Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater company members. Students will learn the rich history of Ailey’s signature style and how he changed the perception of American modern dance.
No experience necessary and all levels are welcomed!
Pricing:
Single Day Package (2 classes): $50
Two-Day Package (4 classes): $80
Participation in both days qualifies students to win a scholarship to Ailey Experience NYC (August 7-11, 2023).

Adult Workshop Fee: $25
Join us at Ailey Experience Tour: Atlanta for a special class tailored to the parents, guardians, and other dancers ages 18 and up. New York City Latin dance expert Katherine Jimenez will guide students through a blend of Latin dance styles like mambo, cha cha, and salsa with a hint of jazz and street styles. All levels are welcome!
