Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns with “a deeper urgency and radiance” (The New York Times) in four captivating programs that will exhilarate and electrify audiences.
Experience the best of modern dance, from 20th century masters Alvin Ailey and Paul Taylor to bold contemporary creators Aszure Barton, Resident Choreographer Jamar Roberts, and Artistic Director Robert Battle. All performances end with Alvin Ailey’s Revelations, the beloved masterpiece that “cannot fail to move” (Vogue).

Use the Student Discount
$17 student tickets are available from 12 noon until curtain time on the day of performance (excluding The Ailey Spirit Gala post-performance event on June 16).
Subject to availability; may not be purchased online or by phone. A valid student ID must be presented at the Box Office. Limit one ID per person; one ticket per ID. Restrictions may apply. Student price includes the $4.00 facility fee.
COVID-19 Protocols
We can't wait to see you at the David H. Koch Theater! In order to ensure your safety and enjoyment, review the information below to help plan your outing. We appreciate your cooperation to ensure the well-being of our artists, as well as our crew, staff, and audiences.
All audience members, including children (5-18 years old), will need to wear masks and provide proof of full Covid-19 vaccination (two weeks after receiving a one-dose vaccine or the second dose of a two-dose vaccine). Children 4 and under are not permitted in the theater at this time.
Specific health & safety protocols are determined by the David H. Koch Theater in its sole discretion and are subject to change. Visitors and Ticket Holders should review the Theater's website periodically to identify changes impacting one's ability to attend based on individual circumstances.
Entry requirements
Please have the following ready when you arrive at the David H. Koch Theater for your performance:
Proof of full vaccination
All guests in your party will need to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (two weeks after receiving a one-dose vaccine or both doses of a two-dose vaccine). All guests over the age of 18 will also need to provide a government issued photo ID. Photo ID will not be required for children under 18 if they are accompanied by parents or guardians with valid proof of ID.
Valid forms of proof of vaccination include:
- CDC-issued vaccination card
- Photo of your vaccination card
- Digital Health Pass (examples include CLEAR)
If a potential audience member remains unvaccinated because of a disability or sincerely held religious belief, that person may contact the David H. Koch Theater in writing for assistance or to request a reasonable accommodation by sending an email to customercare@davidhkochtheater.com.
Masks
Approved masks must be worn by all guests in your party at all times while inside the David H. Koch Theater.
Please note: CDC guidelines state that bandanas, gaiters, or masks with vents/valves are not approved masks.
Refunds & Exchanges
Tickets purchased from the David H. Koch Theater Box Office, Call Center, or the David H. Koch Theater website, for any visiting company engagements during the 2021-22 Season may be refunded or exchanged up until noon on the day of the performance. If a Ticket Holder seeks a ticket exchange, the exchange will apply to tickets with equivalent or lesser value. If the Ticket Holder seeks a cash refund, the amount of the refund will be equal to the amount paid by the Ticket Holder to the Theater at the time of purchase. This Refund and Exchange Policy may not apply to all performances.
The Ailey Spirit Gala
June 16, 2022 at 7pm
This spectacular one-night-only event brings together Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the rising stars of tomorrow from Ailey II, The Ailey School, and AileyCamp, all performing works by Ailey Artistic Director Robert Battle to honor his 10th anniversary.
A soirée on the promenade follows the performance with DJs Angel + Dren.
