The Ailey School

Taylor Bergstraesser was born and raised in Danbury, CT. She trained at the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance under the direction of Amy Piantaggini where she studied ballet and Graham-based modern. She later trained with the Manhattan Youth Ballet, as well as attending summer programs at Complexions-NYC, Orlando Ballet, and Kaatsbaan. During her training,Taylor has performed works by Adam Barruch, William Isaac, Yoshito Sakuraba, Earl Mosley, George Balanchine, Brian Reeder, and Emery LeCrone. Taylor is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in Dance where she concurrently received a BS in Psychology.
