Kali Oliver

Freelance Dancer

Kali Oliver is originally from Akron, Ohio, where she began her dance training with her mother. She attended Nan Klinger Excellence in Dance prior to moving to New York City. Kali has trained for 5 summers on scholarship at The Chautauqua Institution, for 2 summers on scholarship at The Ailey School, and a summer on scholarship at Alonzo KingLINES Ballet. She has had the privilege of performing works by Alvin Ailey, Yoshito Sakuraba, Maurya Kerr, William Isaac, Thang Dao, Mark Diamond, and David Shimotakahara. Ms. Oliver performed in Alvin Ailey's "Memoria" with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater during their 2018 and 2019 New York City Center seasons. She represented The Ailey School in the 2019 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Kali has discovered a passion for teaching and is currently on faculty with The Francesca Harper Project. She is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA program in Dance and plans to continue performing and teaching.
