Simone Cameresi
Ballet Hispanico
Simone Cameresi was born in Italy and raised in Anaheim Hills, California where she trained at Murrieta Dance Project, Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy, and Mather Dance Company. She has attended several summer intensives including Project Launch Dance Festival where she worked with Sidra Bell, Shannon Gillen, and LeeWei Chao. In 2013 and 2014, she was selected as a modern dance semi-finalist in the Music Center Spotlight Awards and in 2014 she was also selected as a YoungArts Foundation merit winner. In 2018, she joined XY Dance Project where she performed works by Nijawwon Matthews, Christopher Huggins, and Ebony Williams. She is a graduate of the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, class of 2020 and is currently an apprentice with Ballet Hispánico.
