Nicolas Bouvet de Tayrac

Nicolas Bouvet de Tayrac is from Paris, France. He began his dance training at the age of 11 in the ‘Funky Styles’ technique under Lady Del. In 2012, he entered the professional division of Arts En Mouvements under the direction of Candice Alekan where he studied Hip-Hop, jazz, modern, and acting.  He has performed in France and Italy with choreographers such as Lady Del, Candice Alekan, Kayoko Watanabe, Julie Galopin, among others.  Nicolas has performed lead roles in various musical productions including Don Lockwood in Singing In The Rain, and The Good in “Chasseurs de Primes” a remake of The Good The Bad And The Ugly. Nicolas has won several prizes in jazz ( from the Federation Française de Danse, and in ‘Locking’ at various choreography contests. In 2015 he created his own company, MUMOS. Nicolas began training in The Ailey School’s Certificate Program in 2017 where he had the opportunity to work with world renowned choreographers such as Darrell Grand Moultrie, Shay Bland, Kirven Boyd, Norbert De La Cruz, and Amy Hall, among others.  He has also performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with The Ailey School, and at New York City Center with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in a section of Mr. Ailey’s classic work, Revelations. He is a 2020 graduate of the The Ailey School's Certificate Program, where he was a member of the Ailey Student Performance Group.
