Darrell Grand Moultrie

Choreographer

Darrell Grand Moultrie, from Harlem in New York City, is a recipient of a Princess Grace Choreography Fellowship Award. He graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts and The Juilliard School. Moultrie has created and staged works for many dance company’s including Atlanta Ballet, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble, Colorado Ballet, The Juilliard Dance Ensemble, Milwaukee Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theater, and Ailey II. He has also created works for Beyoncé and Savion Glover and choreographed commercials for MasterCard, Schick Razor, and worked for Chappelle’s Show. As a performer, Moultrie appeared in the production of West Side Story at the La Scala Opera House in Italy and on Broadway in Hairspray and Aida. He co-choreographed the musical Invisible Thread directed by Diane Paulus at Second Stage Theatre in New York, and choreographed Evita for Kansas City Repertory Theatre and Kiss Me Kate for NYU.
