In October 2012, Ailey’s Board of Trustees selected Mr. Rink to become Executive Director as of January 2013. He previously served as Senior Director of Development and External Affairs starting in June 2007, where he oversaw all of Ailey’s fundraising, marketing and public relations efforts. He joined the Ailey organization in 1994 as Manager of Special Events and subsequently became Development Director in 1998. Prior to his arrival at Ailey, Mr. Rink was Associate Development Director at the Lawrence A. Wein Center for Dance and Theater and the Assistant to the President of The New 42nd Street. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theater.
