Celia Marino
Celia Marino trained extensively in Venezuela and in New York City at School of American Ballet. As a principal dancer with Ballet Nacional de Venezuela she toured throughout Venezuela and the Caribbean, including guest appearances at Festival Internacional de Ballet de la Habana, Cuba. Since joining The Ailey School in 1985, Ms. Marino has held such positions as Ballet Department Chair, Junior Division Director, Student Adviser, and ballet, pointe, and variation instructor. She developed the syllabus for the Junior Division and has conducted auditions for both the Ailey/Fordham BFA and the scholarship programs. Ms. Marino has also been in faculty with Dance Theater of Harlem, Phildanco, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Boston Conservatory and the Boston Ballet School.
